Steve Kirk who accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal savior was called home on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Steve was born December 7, 1956 in Mt Pleasant, Florida and was a resident of Dayton from 1959 to present. Steve was a loving husband and father. He had a heart of generosity always giving and never expecting anything in return. He worked as a supervisor at A & B Iron and Metal for 17 yeas and retired in 2006. Preceded in death his father William Kirk, mother-in law Elgean Cospy, brother Bill Kirk Jr, William L. Kirk, Kelvin Kirk, brother-in-law Jerry Cospy, sister-in law Wilma Vincent. Grandparents Carl and Della Kirk, Spencer and Elnorh Wood, Lola Bell and Clarence Cospy. He leaves to morn his wife of 25 years, Alinda, mother Evelyn - father-in-law Edward Cospy - 3 daughters Adaira (Craig) Horn - Keisha & India Kelly all of Dayton - 3 sons Otis (LaToya) Taylor - Montrey (Dejanae) Smith - Henry (Clair) Cooks -2 other children Yvonne (Dantu) Gardner and Jeffrey (Deon) Vinson Jr. of Dayton, Robert (Shamika) Dukes of Springfield - 2 sisters Evelyn D. Kirk & Brenda Knuckles - 2 brothers David - Lonnie (Lynn) Kirk all of Dayton - 4 brother-in-laws, Eddie (Robin) - Derbwin Karl - Anthony (Bertha) Cospy of Dayton - Michael (Gloria) Cospy of El Paso, TX - sister-in-laws - Regina Cospy Ford - Toni Jackson - Angela (Derrick) King of Indianapolis - 19 favorite grandchildren and 2 great grand kids and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Best friend Anthony (Big A) Merritt and cousin Elonise Kirk.
