Another Valentine's Day without you... I miss you everyday, but especially on Valentine's Day. I have loved you almost my entire life and will never stop!

Another Christmas without you is almost over. We had a great day with the family here, but it is not the same without you. You brought extra happiness to the holidays. We all love you and miss you so much!

Well, my love, today marks two years since you left this world. I still miss you so much, but I truly believe we are soulmates and our hearts will be forever joined. As you used to say, "I will love you for eternity plus seven!"

Well, today is my 80th birthday. I had several really nice celebrations this week and am looking forward to a family get-together on Sunday. It would be perfect except that you are not here with us. I miss you so much! I will love you forever. Me

Today would have been our 56th Wedding Anniversary. I miss you so much, but am so very grateful for the years we had together. I love you!

Tomorrow would be your 82nd birthday. It doesn't seem possible that it has been almost two years since you died. I miss you as much as the day you left us. I will always love you. I will be thinking of you even more than usual tomorrow...

Today marks 21 months since you left us. I received a reminder on my phone of your upcoming birthday. It asked, "Do you want to plan anything?" That hit me so hard! I miss you so much!!! You are my forever love!!!

Today is Memorial Day and also marks 18 months since your death. In some ways that seems like yesterday, but in other ways it seems like a lifetime ago. I have developed a routine for life since you died, but I still feel lost without you. I loved you yesterday, I love you today, and I'll love you forever...

Just hit me today, one of those unexpected hits that reminded me that you are really not here with me. I miss you so much! I love you now and always.

It's Christmas Eve and I miss you so much! I think it's harder for us this year than last, probably because we were still in shock. I love you and always will.

On this Veteran's Day, I am thinking about you and about "our" Air Force career. I am posting a copy of a letter you wrote to me from Viet Nam 57 years ago... It touched my heart. Love you forever!

It has been 11 months since you left us. It feels like yesterday! I miss you so much! Over thw past 11 months looking at old pictures and reading your letters I rediscovered how special our love was and I am so grateful for our life together... I will love you forever!

Fifty-five years ago today we were married. It was not a lavish wedding, but it was one filled with love and happiness. Throughout the last 55 years we continued the love and happiness interspersed with challenges and sadness that only made our love stronger. As one of our favorite Ed Ames songs said,
"Summer or Winter
Our love will be stronger
Will deepen the longer it grows
Fed by devotion our tear drops will help
It grow richer as time comes and goes."

Our love did grow richer and I cherish every moment that we had together! I love you today and forever!

I still see your princess wave you made when Gab gave you a manicure and how much you actually loved it. But most of all it is the little things that I miss. It has been six months today since you left us. It is appropriate that this is Memorial Day weekend. I made potato salad and thought of you! I've re-read your letters sent when you were on isolated tours of duty. I fell in love with you all over again!

I have been so fortunate to have Suellen as a friend and colleague for many years. Perhaps the best part of that relationship was my opportunity to eventually meet Dave. The two were such an honest and loving pair. One's day was enriched just by talking to them. Dave was gone too soon, but I am so thankful for the positive mark he left on my life.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. The memorial at your home was lovely and it was great to meet your wonderful family.
