Ruby L Williams (Hogue, Carson) passed away at age 87 on October 11, 2016.
Born in Yazoo City, Miss on March 23, 1929, She resided in Dayton, Ohio for 69 years. She worked for Dayton Public Schools in food service and also as a teacher aide at Louise Troy Elementary. She was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Usher Board. She loved life and was always helping others in the community, while gladly being a mother to many in the Desoto Bass Court. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved traveling, having fun, and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Callie Hogue, husband Nathaniel Williams, daughter Carolyn, son Ronnie Carson Sr., grandson Tony Bennett, and great granddaughter Miracle Boykin, sisters Aubrey, Decell, Theresa, Julia Mae, Erma, Willie Ella, brother's Hubert and Cleotha. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted children, Ava Brassfield (Reginald), sons Luther Carson Jr., Jeffery Sr. (Latoya) Carson, all of Dayton, OH. Donnie (Theresa) Carson Sr. of Jamestown NY., Bennie (Janice) Carson Sr. of Fort Wayne IN. Sister Hattie Berry of Yazoo City, Miss., brother Beamond (Earlene) Hogue of Dayton, Ohio. Special great niece and nephew Nicole Hogue and Bernard (Ashley) Sanders, extended daughter and son Sandra Reddens, Theodore (Sandra) Carson. Grandchildren Terry, Latasha Bennett, Kijuanus, Ronnie Jr., Crystal Carson, Jameka Bennett, Donnie Jr., Joylinda Carson, Destiny Heard, Renee', Sherry, Bennie Jr. Carson, Samuel Ill (LaNinah) Cook, LaQuitta (Enoch) Bush, Keisha, Wayne Jr. Boykin, Nathaniel Santo's, Jeffery Jr.
