You're Not Forgotten
Dear Brother you will always be remembered
With your joyous lifestyle from December to November
You touched us all with your craziness and smile
To whomever you spoke to, capped on, or styled
You never complained even though people saw you as being in fine
Your existence touched us all, and your positivity shined
During your last days with us when the doctor said "At least two weeks"
You told everyone to stop crying and joy we should seek
Yes, you did not live a type of life people expected
But you did live your life to the fullest, but not perfected
Your kids looked up to you as the strongest dad ever
You kept them laughing, together forever
Even your siblings remained together thinking about you
You called to check on us all and you're the reason our bond grew
People still come up to me and say "I remember how loud he barked"
You scared the mess out of them as they ran through the park
Toward the end of our journey we were introduced to a very special friend
Even though you raised can and gave her hell, you stayed with her until the end
You complained, smiled and continued to act all tough
But you appreciated her kindness, through times-smooth and rough
To cut this poem short and to celebrate your existence on earth
We want to say "We love you" while we expand your worth
Of knowledge you have bestowed on us all is great
We will miss you Jimmy, James, Uncle Jimmy, Burch...Heaven has opened its gate. From a loving brother 9/9/2016
