I spent a lot of time with Grandma Hazel as a kid. I remember everytime I went there, she always watched Price is Right in the mornings and her soaps later in the afternoon. In between, we always played cards. She loved to play cards and that is where I first learned how to play.
For lunch Grandma always used to make my sister and I "suprise plates". Back when we were a kid, we thought they were the best thing since sliced bread. Looking back on them today, she they weren't much of a suprise because she always put our favorite things on there, especially canteloupe, or "mush melon" as she called it.
I have so many good memories of her and miss her very much. It was extremely hard for me as a teenager when we lost her. She is the inspiration for the Never-Gone.com website. I wanted to honor her life while allowing others to do so with their loved ones.
