Myrtle Elaine (Jamason) Myers,"E"passed from earth to glory on Thursday, January 19, at the age of 89.She was the daughter of the late Mary (Simpson) and Benjamin Jamason. Proceeded in death by, Granddaughter, LaTricia Elaine Moore (1976), Husband, Robert D. Myers (1980)Son, Sterling (Stu) Myers (2015); (5) Brothers, Harvey, John, Benjamin, Lloyd, and Latney Jamason; (6) sisters; Inez Scott, Winona Gay, Alberta V. McClung, Ruth E.Barker, Ava L.Curry and Althea M. Jamason. Elaine "E" is lovingly remembered by (2) daughters, Marion (Douglas) Trigg, Maudean (Burl Jr.) Williams,(1) son Robert (Rocky) N. Myers;(5) granddaughters, Kristin Elaine Myers-Young, Marquita (Jerome) Jefferies, Rhonda and Rhyan Myers ,Starla(Eric)Williams,(4) grandsons, Jesse (Michelle) Moore Jr., Steven (Line') Moore, Duane (Janette)Moore, William Wallace, (spiritual son) Jesse James Moore Sr., (10 ) great grand children, a host of nieces/nephews, relatives and friends.
Elaine graduated from Honey's school of cosmetology October 24 1960. Her adult life was spent living and working in Dayton, Ohio. In 1970, Elaine was selected to as the owner of the first Model City Home built in Dayton, Ohio and she resided in that home until she went home to be with the Lord 01/19/2017. She retired from the St. Elizabeth Hospital's Nutrition Department. Funeral Services, Wednesday, January 25, 2017, Germantown Pike Church of Christ located at 4310 Germantown Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45417. Family viewing 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Funeral Services 1:00 pm., Brother Roger Henderson, Officiating. Internment, Springfield Friends Meeting House Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio on Thursday, January 26, 2017. Procession will leave from 1456 Hochwalt, Dayton, 45417.
