Alexander Chatman was born on February 8, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Annie and John Chatman Sr., who preceded him in death. God called Alexander home on September 22, 2016.

Alexander, aka "BIG AL" as we knew him, was that one person who would do anything for anyone and never expect nothing in return. The one thing Al put first in his life was his family. Al made sure that every day he checked on each and every one of them. His smile would light up the sky.

Al loved spending time with his family and friends Mike Davis, Alfonso Ulmer, Janelle and many more. He enjoyed playing cards, basketball, and an occasional trip to the casino. Al was a dedicated, hardworking man with a humble life. It was truly inspiring to see the impact he made on people’s lives.
Al was preceded in death by his father, John Chatman Sr.; sister Denise Ulmer; brother Ernest Chatman; aunt Diana McWilson; niece Shanise Pettie; nephews Trevon and Drevon Chatman.

Al leaves to cherish his memory; his mother Annie L Chatman; sister Angela Chatman; brothers John Chatman Jr, Nathaniel Chatman, Antonio Chatman; son Alexander Chatman Jr; grandmothers Henrietta Ulmer and Helen McDonald; aunts Mary, Shirley, Linda and Nancy; uncles Lawrence and Donald. Al had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many true and dear friends.
