Rose Marie Lindsay Collins was the fifth of five children born to the late George Edward Lindsay Sr. and Malinda Bridges Lindsay on February 6, 1955. She peacefully breathed her last breath on November 5, 2017.

Rose Marie was baptized at an early age at Zion Star Missionary Baptist Church. After receiving her diploma from Parker Industrial High School, she attended Alabama State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. She was a member of the Business Management Club (BMC).

Rose Marie worked at LM Berry (a subsidiary of BellSouth/AT&T) as Supervisor until retirement. She will be sorely missed as she is known for showing love to all family members via poems of Love and Gratitude and home care.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Faithful, Loving, Caregiver Husband: Harry J. Collins, Jr.; Daughter: Jasmyn Marie Collins; Son: Harry J. (Jerrell) Collins, III; Stepson: Santana C. Collins; Granddaughters: JaNya Camille Lindsay, Montana Rice Collins, and Lyrick Escott; Grandsons: Caleb Pension, Keiji L. Collins, and Makayah Escott; Sisters: Ethelyn (William) Lusain, Patricia Ann Lindsay Anderson, Gabrielle Jimmerson, Jennifer W. Lindsay; Brothers: George E. Lindsay, Jr., Devlin Vaughn Lindsay and Aristotle Williams; Nieces: Marie, Nicole, Eve, Kesha, Malinda, Demetria, Shanithia and Myisha; Nephews: Eric, George III, Lindsay and Geovante; Aunts: Annie Lindsay, Bertha Lindsay and Patsy McCarrroll (Roland) Jackson; Uncle Calvin (Barbra) McCaroll and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
