Dear Toni:
Your Dad was a down to earth sort of guy, full of fun along with a heart as big as the entire outdoors... He accepted people at face value and was always willing to give a person the benefit of the doubt. I'm am so happy that Richard Deitz and I became friends. If I have any regrets where your Dad is concerned, it's that we didn't become friends much sooner than we finally did... Over our numerous long phone conversations through the years and our few face to face visits, I grew to love your Dad as though he were a blood relation of mine... He will always have a special place in my heart... All my love and sincere condolences to Richard's Family and his Friends...
