Brown – Davenport, Jamie Maxine of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life March 22, 2017 at home. Born December 14, 1955 to the late James and Maxine Davenport. Born in Jamestown, Ohio and moved to Dayton with her parents, and her Late sister Regina Davenport-DeVaughn. Jamie was preceded in death by her husband Jessie H Brown Sr. and her Sister Regina DeVaughn. She attended Miami Jacob’s College and worked at Walmart before or lengthy illness. She graduated from Roth High School class of 1974. Jamie leaves to cherish her memory her, daughter, Arlise Davenport-Wood; and her brother’s Michael, Charles, James and Nathaniel Davenport of Dayton. And her loving aunt Juanita Rose, and grandchildren, Charlise M Davenport, Kerris H. Smalls and Troy James N. Davenport of Dayton. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, April 7, 2017 at Wayman AME Church on 3317 Hoover Ave, Dayton, Oh, and Visitation 10 am Friday at the church until time of service.
