John Edward Crum, Sr., age 89 departed this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.
John was born July 15, 1927 in Selma, AL to the late Willie and Corrine Crum (Hall). The family moved to Dayton, OH in 1945 where he attended and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1948. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 32 years.

Dear Family & Friends,Death is difficult to deal with but we have the hope of a resurrection from our loving God Jehovah. The resurrection hope is one of the strongest themes mentioned throughout the Bible. Keep in mind that the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and they will be resurrected (John 5:28,29). Without a doubt Jehovah through his son Jesus Christ will bring to life our dead loved ones. Please look forward to that wonderful time in the near future.

Hello I'm Joshua and I just wanted to say I am very sorry for your lost. It is always hard to lose a loved one. But remember the words of Jesus in Luke 23:43,saying you will be with me in PARADISE. My advice to you is to keep loving God, and keep spreading his good news. I pray for you and your family. JW.ORG

My Deepest Sympathy to the Family: Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with your family, helping you to cope. Lean on Him in the days to follow. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 and Psalms 147:3) My deepest sympathy.
