Keith Finley, age 52, departed this life on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at OSU Medical Center. Born to
parents Linda L. Cameron and June Spells on April 18, 1964, but cared for by his mother and
stepfather Carl Cameron Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Dayton, OH and attended Dunbar H.S. and the
Job Corp Training Center.
Keith is remembered by family as witty, sarcastic, cunning, and strong. Mostly known as a tough guy, he
was quick to defend his loved ones, and was often the first one called upon when anyone felt
threatened. He had a very caring soul, but not many got to see that side because he kept himself
guarded. He was fearless, sometimes stupidly fearless, to the point of not knowing his own limitations.
Keith was a wild and free spirit. Definitely a proud man with many flaws, but loved beyond measure
nonetheless.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Linda and June. He leaves to cherish his memory stepfather,
Carl Cameron Sr.; sons, Keith Finley Jr., DaVaughn (Lyndsay) Staley, Preston Debusk, Tyrese Finley;
daughter, Kaetlyn Debusk; brothers, Derrick Finley, Carl (Sherri) Cameron, Bryon Grey; sister, Tammy
Finley; 3 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives; and special friend, Tammy Profitt.
