10am Visitation and 11am Funeral, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 1834 Section Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237.

Vernice was born on September 14th, 1928 in Fort Gaines, Ga to Annie Bennett-Jackson and Bennie Jackson. She went home to be with the Lord on April 15th, 2017. Vernice was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Mildred Jackson and Willie Mae Hall and two children; Ronald Jackson and Deborah Jackson-Griffin.

Vernice accepted her Lord and savior Jesus Christ at an early age. She was baptized at New Hope Methodist Church in Fort Gaines, Ga. She later moved to Cincinnati, Oh and joined Beulah Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Martin.

Being true to her faith, she was very active in the church as a member of the Missionary Society, In-Reach/Out-Reach Ministry, Youth Sunday school, Youth Choir, Vacation Bible School, and the Children’s Nursery.

She was educated in public schools. She was employed with Big Louie’s and Frisch’s and later retired.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Four siblings: Estelle Tucker, Eva Mae Canty (Joseph), Bennie Jackson (Mary), and Herman “Bud” Jackson; Seven grandchildren: Jackson (Christie), Ashleigh, Jerrod (Dominque), Christopher (Angel), Meliah Kelly (Danta), Logan, and Collette (Ernest); Four step-grandchildren: Nazarene, Christian, Immanuel (Macai), and Uhighness; Fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She is gone, but will never be forgotten; she will be missed but always appreciated.
