Larry Lynch, Sr., age 63, was born September 29, 1953 to the late John Henry Lynch, Sr. and Willie Mae Lynch in Dayton, Ohio. He was the eldest of six children. Larry departed this life peacefully Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Hospice off Dayton.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica; father, John Henry Lynch, Sr,; mother, Willie Mae Lynch; grandfather, Walter Allen; grandmother, Paola Allen; paternal grandmother, Rena Pitman; and brother, John Henry Lynch, Jr.
He grew up in Dayton, attending Whittier Elementary School and graduating from Dunbar High School class of 1973. Over his adult life he worked for Duriron, Victoria Theatre and Wright State University where he developed a number of friends. He spent many hours enthusiastically following national football and basketball teams as well as having a love of working on cars as the self declared family mechanic.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory a son, Larry Lynch, Jr.; grandchild, Veronica Lynch; brothers, Earl Lynch and Kerry Lynch; sisters, Cassie (George) Marshall and Carol (Carl) Turner; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a very dear friend, Donald Allen
