On Tuesday, August 14 2018, we released Gail’s ashes into Biscayne Bay in a simple ceremony to honor her life. Joining us at Matheson Hammock were members of her family and several of her lifelong friends. Gails’s ashes were placed into a biodegradable ‘In the Light’ rose petal container and her sons, Jason and Adam, kayaked out to the deeper water and released her to the universe, then spread dried rose petals on the water from Gails own flowers. Afterwards we all celebrated the life of Gail Dodge Reisdorph by going to Lunch at Monty’s in he Grove, one of Gails favorite places growing up in the south Miami area. Pictures / Video don’t fully capture the moment but are included. We wanted to bring her home, all the way home, her ashes were released very close to where she was born at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables. She is at rest now, welcome home to my beloved wife, devoted mother to her sons, and a kind friend to all. We will always remember your beautiful light...

Gail's Michigan Memorial Service was held this past Sunday, June 24th 2018 in a beautiful outdoor garden where Gail used to love to sit, at the home of dear friends to our family. It was a small private ceremony of close friends and family. Thank you so much all that were able to attend.
In the near future, my sons and I will bring Gail's ashes home to her beloved south Miami / Coconut Grove area where she grew up. Her ashes will be spread in a simple ceremony to celebrate her life. Thank You to all who visited Gail's Never-Gone Memorial and for all the cards and condolences, our family is very grateful.
