Dr. Omran assisted me in providing space and resources for the FFA Veterinary Science events hosted by the CVM each year. He was always so excited to be able to help and would go above and beyond to ensure I and the students attending the event had what they needed. However, this is not what made him remarkable in my eyes. The remarkable thing about Dr. Omran was how important he made everyone feel. After our first brief meeting, he remembered me by name; which is meaningful as I am no one of particular significance within the CVM. Any time we would cross paths in the CVM facilities he would greet me by name and ask about me, my work, and if there was anything he could do to be of assistance. Dr. Omran understood many things, but his greatest understanding was the importance of people! This great man will be greatly missed!
