I added a portion of a letter I got from Uncle Rich when I was in the Army in March 1986. I have the same sense of humor, and he will be sorely missed.

This is from Dave I will always remember all the fishing trips, playing cards, and golf games with you Ron and Dad. I learned alot working with you and having you help me work on my own house. Thank you for being another brother to me when mine lived so far away

this is hard how do you pick memories when there is so much, first time you took me fishing and let me carry my Sunny home but didn't tell me it was dead just that you would take it back to the creek for me, you meeting me after school and walking me home, helping the little girl down the street after she fell off her bike and she became one of my best friends, the day you left for the army and gave me your fishing pool to keep for you so I would know you were coming back, years of you being there and giving advice and comfort, helping me through my heart surgery and calling me several time a day to check on me, and just for being my big brother
