remained in good spirits with all she was going through. What a trooper! Never wanted to talk about her problems but wanted to help with everyone else's. Thank you Gail for being my friend and sharing your memories with me. We will meet again. Peace to Gail and her family.

I shared classes with Gail in both junior high and high school in Miami. She was a fun loving soul and I enjoyed our friendship. It wasn't, however, until the last 2 years that we became best "phone buddies". We would talk 2 or 3 times a week and would love to share old memories. She would tell me that I "spoke Gail". We both enjoyed nature and loved animals and would share pet stories. I would make her laugh, as she did I. She would talk about her love of Maui, her old convertible Volkswagon Beetle, her family and her cats. She would send me pictures of her winter with snow and her spring with the deer. It amazed me that she ALWAYS

To my big sister. For the times at crandon beach when we were young to the time spent in Gainesville just hanging out to road trips to Montana. Summer spent in Montana learning to do everything from driving a tractor to wrecking a jeep. These collection of memories have helped to define my childhood. A better big sister I could not ask for. You will be forever loved and remembered.
RIP Gail

From our time in Michigan in the '90s, the Reisdorphs were a unique and wonderful family that embraced us Brits and made MI feel more like home than home. Gail introduced me to Bill and that’s where my American Scouting adventure began – the trans-Atlantic Scouting bond is something of immense value. Like my wife Annie, Gail was the long-suffering Scoutmaster’s wife keeping everything together whilst their husbands were off on camp. Reading the comments, it seems Gail liked to give out nicknames – mine was “Mountain Man”, something to do with a penchant for camping out in the Michigan winters – ha! Bill, Jason and Adam, God bless you guys and you know you’ll always have a home in the UK.

Whenever I stopped by the Reisdorph’s, Gail would without fail, call me Jessman, that was my nickname. She made me feel welcome in their home and I looked forward to spending time there. She always seemed happy to see me and that always brightened my day. She would ask if I was still drawing or what I was doing, asking about things she knew I was passionate about, the important stuff, I always appreciated that. I fondly remember us getting yelled at by her whenever we pushed the envelope and dropped and F-bomb a little too loud and then she would be laughing with us the next minute. Like I said I always felt welcome and like a part of the family there and I will always be thankful to her for that. She was a great person and had a heart of gold. I’m happy and thankful to know her.

Gail was a kind and loving friend and sister. We had many long talks and adventures over the years. Our times in Montana will always be special (making jelly, picking cherries, trips to Glacier, boating on Flathead Lake. We would have long talks about all things and nothing. The last in April, she told me how proud she was of boys, they had turned into such Good Men. How she Loved Bill from the first moment she met him. Good Memeories last forever.

My last visit with Gail was a few months ago. We had just got back from Blimpy Burger and Bill had bought me a shirt while there. I had felt bad about that and was going to leave the shirt for Bill to give to Adam or something.
I had told this to Gail and she gave me a look of amazement. She then proceeded to tell me "Are you fucking crazy!?!?!? Take the damned shirt!"
I wear the shirt regularly and will continue to think of Gail every time I wear it or go to Blimpy Burger.
