This memorial was created in honor of Perry "Poppy Seed" Lee Nydigger of Albany, Oregon. Perry was born on August 31, 1937 in Shields and passed on July 31, 2015. Perry was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

It was an unexpected loss but God knew what he was doing as the entire family was coming together this week for a little reunion.

Perry is survived by his bride of 57 years Sharon Nydigger and his 6 daughters Cindy Bridge of Puyallup, WA., Annette Duerr of Lebanon, OR., Roberta Spangler of Albany, OR., Brenda Nydigger of Salem, OR., Kristie Golden of Dallas, TX and Annie Nydigger of Salem, OR. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Perry never met a stranger and was loved by everyone whom he'd ever met. There will be a celebration of life at St Edwards Catholic Church at 100 N. Main Street Lebanon, Oregon 97355 at 2PM on Thursday 08/06/2015. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Alzhiemer's Association or the American Heart Association in his memory.

We welcome any stories you may have about our Dad as we celebrate his life. Thank you for your prayers and condolences.

Sharon, Cindy, Annette, Roberta, Brenda, Kristie and Annie (Carol)

Dear Kristie, The promise that death will be no more is as sure as the sun rising each morning. The promise is found in Jehovah God's Word, the Bible at Revelation 21:4, which says: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.” It is also given in the book of Isaiah: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.”—Isa. 25:8. Without a doubt God will bring to life our dead loved ones. Please look forward to that wonderful time in the near future.
