The world lost a wonderful lady that touched so many people. The one thing that will always stand out for me when remembering Linda is her love of her family. Linda made it clear what was most important in her life. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I hope all the wonderful memories you share will comfort you.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Liza & Maggie,
I hope this email finds you both well, or at least as well as you can be during this difficult time. I learned of your mother’s passing prior to our game on Saturday, but didn’t want to say anything at the time as I was unsure how many people actually knew about it.
I know how much she meant to both of you, and as an IU grad and kid who grew up in Ellettsville, I understand the impact she had, and will continue to have on our community.
Please know that you and your extended family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
All my best.
Joe Gallagher

I worked with Linda and Bill in the late seventies and early eighties at the Hour House and Kilroy's. Linda always amazed me with her energy and positive attitude. There were struggles in those early years but Linda always persevered. I'm not surprised at the success she has enjoyed in these later years. She was one determined lady! Rest in peace, Linda. Job well done. My prayers are with your family.

Linda,
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to spend almost 3 good years in the mid 90's working with you at KOK while I got my degree at IU. I learned many things from you, and it's due to all of this that I was able to grow as a person, and get the job that I still have today. You've got some solid children in Maggie, Liza, and David that will no doubt carry on for you now that you're gone. Thanks again for being you.
Hugs,
Tilly (via FB)

Linda was a true mentor to many Bloomington women. She was able to articulate the things that I wanted to say and made me realize that Eleanor Roosevelt was so right when she said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent". Linda make it clear in her stories to me that she certainly never allowed anyone to make her feel inferior. She was indeed a hard-headed, beautiful and caring person and she will be sorely missed in Bloomington.

A brilliant, wonderful, generous, strong woman and the mother of my best friend lost her battle to cancer today. I am grateful for her welcoming me into her family and life all these years. A true inspiration of how to live the biggest life you can. Will miss you Linda Prall. Bloomington is not the same.

So many mourning the loss of Linda Prall tonight. Thinking of her kids and grandkids and those she truly adored. So many stories I could share about her sometimes secret generosity and big heart. I remember being at the restaurant show when we decided Linda was the only thing that could defeat Ditka. I also remember her scanning my wedding guests and making the "they're going to need more wine" call. Fitting that it's raining, the town she loved is crying. We will miss you so much Big L.

A sad day for the so many of us that Linda Prall had such a profound impact on. So many of us had the great pleasure of learning from this amazing woman. I personally learned so much both personally and professionally from her. She will be missed by many. A big hole was left in our hearts today.

Sad to have heard the news about Linda Prall. By far, the best teacher anyone could have when it came to the bar business, and a great lady to have in your corner. She will be missed by many.
