Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with your family, helping you to cope. Lean on Him in the days to follow. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 and Psalms 147:3) My deepest sympathy.

Representing the Library Association of the Republic of China (Taiwan), I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to Prof. Lisa Zhao's family. Prof. Zhao is an active library professional, dedicated to promote the role of CALA among international Chinese librarianship. During her presidency (2013-2014), Prof. Zhao has made great effort to strengthen the relationship between CALA and LAROC. The invitation of Director General Shu-hsien Tseng from National Central Library as guest speaker at the 2014 CALA annual meeting, and awarded the 2014 Outstanding Library Leadership Award in Memory of Dr. Margaret Chang Fung to Professor Chen-Ku Wang from the National Taiwan Normal University were among the most important and meaningful deed. Her great leadership and devotion will always be remembered. The members of the LAROC, as CALA’s close friends in Taiwan, share the same sadness with you. Please pass our sincere regards to members of the CALA and Prof. Zhao’s family.
