Losing a loved one in death can be one of the most difficult and painful experiences one can face. You are not alone. Jehovah God, who is the source of all comfort, promises to be close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 says that, "Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." It is reassuring to know that Jehovah God sees our pain and is eager to soothe and comfort us. He can also give us the strength needed to cope with the loss of a loved one.
