I write on behalf of myself and other veterans of Lloyd's Korean War army unit, the 1st Radio Broadcasting and Leaflet Group. We were stationed in Tokyo together from September 1951 to the autumn of 1952.
Lloyd was a wonderful colleague and friend. We enjoyed working together and in our free time having fun together. After discharge we kept in touch with each other, sharing news of our lives and our respective growing families.
It is hard to say goodbye. We shall miss him.
