Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Stanley Memorial Chapel (2455 Stanley Ave/Dayton, Oh 45404). Viewing begins at 2pm and service from 3pm-4pm.
Rubynell (Peaches) Easley, went home to be with the Lord November 27, 2016 at Riverside Nursing Home in Dayton, OH. She was born September 22, 1947 in Welch WV to the late William Easley and Ruth Prentice. She was a long time member of Mt Hebron Missionary Baptist Church.
Ruby was a Devoted mother, sister, and daughter. She loved serving the community which she Volunteered for catholic social services and house of bread. She graduated with a business degree from Kimball high school in 1966 where she was nicknamed Light for her beautiful smile. She was baptized at Mt. Grove Baptist Church in Hemphill WV. She was also on the usher board and head of the church entertainment. She attended Bluefeild College and graduated with her Nursing degree.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Inez Easley, brother James Knox , and father William Easley She leaves to cherish her memories mother Ruth Knox; sister Teresa Knox; daughter Jonika Easley; son Terry Edwards (wife Angela Edwards); nieces Tanisha Edwards, Naomi Lindsey, Tatiana Crosby. Abby and Amanda MCLaughlin; god kids Desmond Henderson and Monica Day; and 6 great grandkids .
She will greatly be missed and remembered by the way she sat on her front porch in the summer time talking to all her neighbors. Her warm personality touched a lot of lives she has taken care of a lot of children working at children's medical center and Dayton Christian center our love for her will endure forever and we will take comfort in knowing she's in Gods arms
