This memorial was created in honor of Leah Christine Terry of Atlanta, Georgia. Leah was born on March 7, 1993 in San Jose, CA and passed on May 29, 2017. Leah was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family. Leah is survived by two sisters, Patsy and Ruth Ann, her parents Candace and Alton, grandparents Jim and Clara Terry and Patricia Reed, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Leah was kind and generous. She loved writing and always strove to be a voice for the disenfranchised. In lieu of flowers and in honor of her activism, she would desire to give back to the community of Atlanta. Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Community Food Bank at acfb.org/more-ways-give. Additionally, Leah contributed to research of depression and so memorials can also be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at nami.org/Get-Involved/Donate-to-NAMI/Ways-of-Giving.
