Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 11 a.m., Greater Love Christian Church, 4325 Lakeview Ave. Dayton, OH.
Mr. Leonard Heard, 73, passed away on May 14, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born in Heard County, GA on July 4, 1943 to the late Charlie and Eddie Heard.
Preceded in death by parents; 2 brothers, Charlie Jr. “C.J.” Heard and Johnny B. Heard; 1 granddaughter, Paige Olivia Jones.
He leaves to cherish memories the mother of his children and longtime friend, Sonseeray (Bobby McShann) Heard; 3 sons, Ricky (Alicia) Jones of Charlotte, NC; William (Wendy) Jones and Leonard (Robin Smith) Heard II, both of Dayton, OH. 1 devoted daughter, Lena (Kelly) Williams. 3 sisters; Retha Reynolds and Eather Strickland of Georgia, Mozell Hardy of Dayton. 11 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 1 God-son, Pastor Norman Bradfield.
