Lundy (Jones), Julia Irene, 81 , of Fairborn, Ohio passed away peacefully after an 11 year battle with Alzheimers, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was born in Fairfield, OH, on April 8, 1935 to the late Carl Edward Jones Sr. and Henrietta Julia (Crist) Jones. Also preceded in death by her son, Scott Lundy and former spouse Larry Lundy.

Survived by her daughters, Teri Wilson(Ken), Kathy Christian (Chuck), Debbie Hartley, Pam Connolly (John); 8 grandchildren, Matt Wilson(Wendi), Lisa Caupp(Jon),Tim Yerian (Lacie), Kelli Hartley, Stephanie Butcher (Mike), Josh Hartley (Megan), Jamie Kaeser (Shawn), Samantha Connolly-Davis (Matt) ; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sister, Mary Ellen Hill (Jim), brother, Carl Jones Jr. and special friend, Wanda Newman. Julia loved her many years living in Fairborn Central Senior Apartments(former Bath Township Consolidated Schools) where she had also attended school as a member of the Class of 1953.

The family would like to thank Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek and Vitas Hospice for the loving care they provided to our mother.

Family will receive friends on April 8, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 11a.m. with a Memorial Service following at First Baptist Church of Fairborn, 1167 Highview Dr., Fairborn, OH. Private graveside services at Byron Cemetary. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at ALZ.org.
