Eunice Hibbitt age 90 was born October 1, 1926, to the late Sylvester McCullom and Mattie Brown- Clemens in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Eunice, affectionately known as "Tot" was surrounded by family as she transitioned from this life to be with the Lord on June 27, 2017.

Eunice was a loyal mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She devoted much of her time and energy to making her family and friends happy with a home cooked meal or words of wisdom. You could always count on Eunice to have a home cooked meal on the stove no matter what time of the day it was. She never turned anyone away. One of her favorite things to say was, "my door is always open and I'm only a phone call away." Eunice was always concerned about the well-being of those that would visit her. She would stand in her doorway to make sure her loved ones made it out of her home safely. She would then say "call me when you get home." Calling Eunice was always a treat! She knew how to keep secrets, make you laugh and comfort you. It took twenty minutes to end a phone call with Eunice. She always made sure to say "I love you" and would ask "when are you coming to see me."

Her kindness also was felt by many at the University of Dayton. Eunice retired after ten years of serving the students and faculty of UD. She never complained about getting up early and catching multiple buses to get to work. Her work ethics gave us all motivation to work hard!
Eunice is survived by 5 brothers and sisters; Ernestine McCullom, Zella Jenkins, Pauline Moore; Larry McCullom & George McCullom; as well as 6 devoted children including; Jean Hibbitt, George (Anita) Hibbitt, Chris Hibbitt, Tony (Kim) Hibbitt, Bill Hibbitt, and Denise Favors.

She is proceeded in death by 2 siblings; Lindsey (Carrella) McCullom & Netty White. She leaves to cherish fond memories and celebrate her legacy to 11 grandchildren including; Nick Allen, Latricia (Adrien) Lundy, Christina (Miles) Davis, TJ (Patricia) Hibbitt, Devon Woody, Kelsey Roberts, Brandin McCullar, Marcus Hibbitt, Denika Hibbitt, Morgan Lucas and Alicia Lucas; along with a host of loving great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Until we see one another again, farewell Eunice. We love you!
