I have known Carlene "Caya" since around 2003? working in the ministry of Rehabilitation and drug counseling. As a counselor, Carlene brought beauty and professionalism to a very ugly place in individual's lives. Her presentation facilitated the needed trust to engage personal resources to embrace sobriety as a priority to live better and fuller lives. Her quiet reprieve gave space for empathy to be the warmth that would provide the courage to walk away from that that would destroy a person toward the unknown territory that would build them up into a valuable individual first to themselves and ultimately toward others. I have had the awesome pleasure of worship with Carlene of the one true God, the Father through the sacrifice of His dear son Jesus, in the power of the Holy Ghost! Caya" was able to persuade me to worship with her on the Sabbath when she knew I was tired and sleepy ... but she wanted the worship service to be enhanced by my gift of music in worship to Him who provides all things! As a result, I was with Caya in prayer when her mom took ill; I was with "Caya" in prayer as her mom transitioned from mortality to immortality; I was with "Caya" in prayer through the journey of committing her own body to the hand of the healing touch of the Lord while she lie in a hospital bed not knowing what, in fact she was facing. I visited her and she 'fervently encouraged' me to declare the mighty works of the Lord through touching and agreeing in faith that through song, (me singing a concert of course), God would get the glory out of the experience. It is with honor and grace I accept the divine will of our God ... Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints!

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 King James Version (KJV)

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

2 Corinthians 5 King James Version (KJV)

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 King James Version (KJV)

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Gone, never forgotten ...
