Linda Kate Grubb, 29, of Koontz Road, died Wednesday from injuries received in an automobile accident on Old Linwood Road.
The funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday at Vogler's - Piedmont Funeral Home by the Rev. Henry King and the Rev. Roger Forrest. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Grubb was born June 8, 1959 to Garnett Edgar Hancock and Eula Verta Akers Hancock. She was employed with Link - Taylor.
Surviving are her husband, Tony Ray Grubb of the home; a son, Kevin Grubb of the home; a daughter, Crystal Grubb of the home; her parents of Fries, Va.; four brothers, Harold Hancock of Trantham Acres, Fred Hancock of Robbins Circle, Bobby Hancock of Wilson Road and Jimmy Hancock of Calvin Sowers Road and six sisters, Lorene Nichols of Highway 150, Ruth Heninger of Wilson Road, Mary Mitchell of Peacock Drive, Stella Pierce of Eleventh Street, Belva Jean Hancock of Fries, Va., and Juanita Marlow of Galax, Va.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Mitchell on Peacock Drive in Green Meadows.
