My dearest Lou,
Together we fought the gallant fight for health until the bitter end. I was so proud of your courage through it all. No battle was too hard for you when it came to being with your family. You gave us love, strength and fatherly support.
I will miss seeing you in your recliner. I will miss seeing the cards and flowers you surprised me with. I will cherish the memories of all the traveling and special trips.
Thank the Lord you saw your children married, their children and great grandchildren. We thank the Lord you can now rest. My love to you, my life-long partner.
