RK did more to support my dad than anyone else I knew. The two shared office space next door to the old Arid Club: 3K Roofing and Conover Construction. I worked for my dad a short time and always enjoyed seeing and being around RK with his quick wit and genuineness. The last time I saw RK was at the funeral for my stepmother in 2000. My dad was distraught and tired. I was only in town for a short time and was concerned for him. When RK came over to me, shook my hand, touched my shoulder and said, "We'll take care of him," I knew Dad was going to be OK. Thanks, RK. I have thought about you and your wonderful family many times over the years, and each time I smiled.
