Timothy David Ryan of Magnolia, DE passed away on October 5, 2016 at home, he was 56 years of age. Tim was born on September 27, 1960 in Jersey City, NJ to Francis X. Ryan and Virginia T. Kaiser then moved to Woodcliff Lake, NJ, in 1968. He graduated from WCL Middle School (1974), Pascack Hills High School (1978), before attending Embry Riddle Aviation School in Daytona Beach FL. In 1984 he married Kristine Sharp of Ridgefield Park, NJ, and enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served 21 years before retiring in 2006 as a Master Sergeant.
After his military career he was employed by Kraft Foods and had a C2C E-commerce business. Tim attended Delaware TECH earning an Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance. At the time of his death he was a student at Delaware State University and had earned dual degrees in Aviation Management and Hotel and Tourism Management, which will be awarded posthumously.
Tim was very active in his church and numerous political organizations. He enjoyed working on and collecting classic cars, playing the drums, fishing, the Miami Dolphins, Frank Zappa, the beach, and Island travel. Most of all he enjoyed his children and had great pride in his country.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Francis X. Ryan and his sister, Theresa Ryan.
Tim is survived by his mother, Dr. Virginia T. Kaiser; of Tuxedo Park, NY; his wife of six years, Anna Tipezenji Banda Ryan and her daughter Vanessa Suh-Neba, of Magnolia, DE; Tim’s children, Leigh Robison, Tyler "TJ” Ryan, Dylan Ryan, and grandson Lucas Ryan of Lewes, DE; siblings: Shawn Ryan of Cary, NC, Colleen Ryan-Meyer of Randolph, NJ, Kyle Ryan of Nyack, NY, Kelly Ryan-Gazdus of Rumson, NJ, Gary Bertoline of Randolph, NJ, and Georgelea Exposito of New Castle, PA.
A Funeral Mass will celebrate Timothy’s life at the Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River,New Jersey 07478 @ 12 noon on November 26th.
