This memorial was created in honor of Eddie Bonner Sr of Dayton, Ohio. Eddie was born on September 5, 1932 and passed on January 30, 2018. Eddie was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

Sgt. Maj. Eddie Bonner was born September 5, 1932 to Eva Bonner and Edward Glenn. Eddie accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Where he attended faithfully until his health failed him. Eddie served his country for 42 years. He served in the Korean War where he received The Purple Heart.
Eddie Bonner Sr departed this life on January 30, 2018 at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Hikia Glenn and Joel Carson, sisters Marylina Boyd and Claudia Glenn.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Eddie Bonner Jr. and daughter, Eva Jackson of Louisville, KY., sisters, Amanda Glenn and Bathsheba Glenn. 8 grandchildren and his devoted dog, Sarge, other relatives and friends.
