My warm condolences to the family, I am sorry for your loss.
We need comfort when we experience these kinds of trials. We all need great comfort, from ones that love us especially when it comes from our God. In 2Corinthians 1;3,4 SAYS-“ The God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.”God did not intend for us to die. That’s why one of the most painful emotions we experience is grief over the death of a loved one. 1 Corinthians 15:26- “the last enemy , death, is to be brought to nothing.”
So this is why God says…’ As a mother comforts her son, so I will keep comforting you.”- Isaiah 66:12,13.
Jesus taught that someday,” all those in the memorial tombs,” will be resurrected.(John 5:28)
Jehovah God is the creator of all life. Should it be hard to believe that he can re-create life?God promises that , death, will be no more,” in Revelation
21:4. May Jehovah God be with your family. Please go to Jw.org for more comfort.

Dear Susan,
We read in the Bible that Jehovah God will: "Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing! Jesus cooperates with him. We read at 1 Corinthians 15:22: “In the Christ all will be made alive."
