Services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Gateway Cathedral (5501 Olive Rd/Trotwood Oh 45426). Visitation will begin at 10:00am with service to follow at 11:00am.

Tammie Lee Robinson, age 45, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Tammie was born on March 15, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio to Norma Jean Robinson and Herbert James Cook Sr. Tammie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Edith Robinson-Burns and Lynnette Bradfield, brother, David Robinson, nephews, Ramone Donnell Johnson, Travis Dunson, Jr and James “Butchie” Heflin.

Tammie accepted the Lord at an early age at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Perry Henderson, Sr. She reaffirmed her service to the Lord at age 40 at the Potter’s House under the leadership of Bishop Mark McGuire. Tammie recently began worshipping under of the leadership of Norman Bradfield at Resurrection Baptist Church, all in Dayton, Ohio.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted children, Whitney Jean Robinson-Blackshear, Finesse Marie, Porsha Janell, Jamila Shane’ and Thomas James McNichols, Sr, sisters, Arnetta Gary, Katherine Dunson, Fercia Gary, Shirley Robinson, Donna Johnson, Jackie Heflin, Angela Cook; brothers, Herbert Cook, Jr., Ronald Cook and Larry Cook. Grandchildren, Neaveh Hicks, Amariey Blackshear, Derrick Godwin, Jr, Thomas McNichols, Jr, Ja’Moni Hopkins-Russell, Tristan Harris, LaNiya McNichols, Dairion Marshall and Mason Miller. Special cousins, Sabrina Haywood and Tonya Hicks Special friends, Latasha Sims,William Peterson, Dwight Howard and Kay Rhine, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Tammie graduated from Colonel White High School. She was very athletic, playing basketball, volleyball, and running track. Tammie loved to swim, her favorite color was blue. Tammie was a true fish (Pisces) as the ocean and fish were her favorite. She had a contagious laugh, one that would spread once expressed. Tammie was in many ways a fire that tamed many fires. She was passionate to the needs and situations of others. Tammie loved unconditionally, and did not pass judgement of anyone. Tammie was employed most recently by Itz All Good Catering, yet she held many positions over the years in the hospitality and healthcare industries.
