Dear Family and Friends, In times of stress and grief, having faith in the resurrection hope that God promised in his word he Bible can comfort us. We know that by means of the resurrection, we will see our dead loved ones again. Isaiah 25:8 tells us that Jehovah "will actually swallow up death forever." That includes the complete removal of distressing effect of death, for the prophecy goes on to say: "The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces," If you feel sadness now because your loved ones has died, the resurrection will certainly give you reason for happiness.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort through the loving and happy memories of your beloved Kathleen. May you also look to our Loving Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time.(2 Corinthians 1:3,4, Psalms 83:18) He promises us that very soon, He will eliminate sickness, pain and death forever. "He will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."Revelation 21:3,4, Isaiah 33:24. What a wonderful promise!
May all of God's promises give you a measure of hope, comfort, peace and strength. I have personally found very comforting thoughts at jw.org.
