William "Tom" Thomas Latimer Jr.
1961-2017
Beloved friend, Tom Latimer of Huber Heights, OH passed away peacefully at his home on November 1st. He was born in Batavia, NY on September 6, 1961, the youngest son of William T. Latimer, Sr and Mary (Combs) Latimer. Tom graduated from Wayne High School in Dayton, OH and went on to attend The Ohio State University. While at OSU, he participated in ROTC, and he was commissioned to the United States Air Force. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984-1992. He served with Air National Guard from 1993- 1999. Tom’s most recent position was at AT&T Government Solutions at the Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Dayton, OH. Tom enjoyed an active social life and many friends serving in the media team at his church. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Richard Latimer, and his sister, Karen (Latimer) Dorr. He was proud of his work and family. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan, animal and music lover, and a blessing to all who knew him. He will be missed. He is survived by his nieces, Kristen Dorr and Kara (Dorr) Johnson, cousins, Chip Combs and CeeCee (Combs) Andrew, uncle, Charles Combs, and ex-wife, Robyn Wilds. The family would like to give special thanks to Ginghamsburg Church,. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, November 18th at 10:30am at Ginghamsburg Church located at 6759 S Co Rd, Tipp City, OH 45371. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Ginghamsburg Church.
