MISSING YOU

The Lord saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you and whispered “Come with me.”
With tearful eyes I watched you suffer and saw you fade away.
Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, your beautiful smile at rest.
God broke my heart to prove, He always takes the best.
It’s lonesome here without you, I miss you so each day.
My life just isn’t the same ever since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong,
I hear you gently whisper, “Cheer up and carry on.”
Each time I see your picture, you seem to smile and say,
“Don’t cry, I’m in God’s keeping, We’ll meet again someday.”
YOUR DEVOTED WIFE, LOVENTRIC

Knowing that our deceased loved ones in God’s memory are asleep in death and awaiting a resurrection can give us solace and kindle our desire to carry on with life. Yes, we can confidently look to the future when Jehovah God, the Giver of life, will bury death forever.

Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know words can do little to take away the pain you are feeling, so may the God of comfort be with your family, helping you to cope. I have found free and comforting information on www.jw.org. I hope it can prove to be a source of solace to you as well. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17 and Psalms 147:3)
