A Man of the Church

A great man passed away too soon. He wasn't great because he achieved many things throughout his life. He was great simply because that is what he was to those around him. He was a man who understood what manhood meant, of which our present generation has lost. I wish all that crossed his path knew what he stood for. He stood a real man. A primary example of how a true man behaves, loves, works, speaks, cares, and stands for Christ. He showed each and everyone of us how a man of God looks. He knew what mattered most, things like faith, family, community, and stability. Perhaps this explains why his three children followed in his footsteps. He now lives on through all three of them. Chuck is not in his grave but resting and rejoicing in the glories of Heaven. In 2 Corinthians 5:8 Apostle Paul tells believers: "We are confident, yes, rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." We now must trust the Lord to help us move forward, knowing that by God's grace we will see Chuck again.

"If a man dies, can he live again? [Job 14:14] Can a lifeless person who is sleeping in death be brought back to life? This grave will be emptied. All those billions who rest there will live again. The apostle Paul said: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". Therefore, you can look forward to seeing your dead loved ones again! Jehovah God will resurrect them.
