Richard Colt Hazlett passed away after a very short, intense battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on March 10, 2016 in Dallas Texas.

Thank you to Gemini Alexander Brooks for being with Colt. Words will never be able to express the gratitude I feel. You have a beautiful soul and I feel truly blessed to call you my friend.

We read in the Bible that Jehovah God will: "Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing! Jesus cooperates with him. We read at 1 Corinthians 15:22: “In the Christ all will be made alive."

To my dearest younger Brother. It is very hard to believe you have now been gone form us for 2 months... It feels like just yesterday you and I were playing pool. It feels like juts weeks ago that we were kids and playing with you G.I. Joe's, or maybe even riding our bikes, or, more likely, fighting. We fought as much as any siblings, I guess, but I wish you were here to argue with now... There is so much I see every day that reminds me of you. I miss you so much, but I know you're watching mom and me, wherever you may be. I love and miss you, little brother. Your very sad older Sister
