After the loss of a loved one. There may be many questions that pass through our minds. We may feel all sorts of emotions and the thought of trying to process everything at once may seem overwhelming. However, the one true God never leaves us in the dark. Through his word the bible, we can find comfort and hope of what he has promised. We can be confident in his promises because God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) has promised us that in the future Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. (Rev 21:3,4) What a wonderful hope to look forward to and a wonderful place to be. We are deeply sorry for your loss and invite you to refer back to these scriptures for reassurance. If you have any questions please visit JW.org

I’m very sorry for the sad loss of your beloved father. Though I don’t know you, and I didn’t know your dear father, please accept my deepest sympathy for you in your painful loss. I would like to share with you what continues to bring me comfort in the most painful losses of my life in the hope that you will find some additional comfort. I think about the fact that they’re not suffering in any way, and that means a lot to me! And I look forward to the time for the resurrection at which time I hope to be here to welcome them each back to life with a close and loving hug! My beloved Mom and Dad and my beloved youngest brother who died suddenly and very unexpectedly at age 51. Acts 24:15 promises “that there is going to be a resurrection.” Ecclesiastes 9:11b explains why many die, that “time and unexpected events (Or, “unforeseen occurrence”) overtake them all.” Our loving God doesn’t cause sad things to happen to our loved ones, as James 1:13 shows. Revelation 21:4 gives us the wonderful promise for the near future of no pain or death! Psalms 37:10, 11, 29 help us realize that many will upon being resurrected, be welcomed back to life by their loved ones! Then “the meek will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace to live forever here on the earth when it’s restored to paradise conditions! Then life will be like our Creator meant for life to be! Perfect peace and harmony; even the animals will be safe and peaceful as Isaiah 11:6-9 shows. Isaiah 33:24 shows that there won’t be any more sickness! And Job 33:25 that older ones will return to the days of their youth but with good health! I hope that you’re finding comfort in your memories. Romans 15:4 shows that we can find true comfort in God’s written Word. Please look at JW.ORG for more comfort. Take care. Sincerely Yours, Cindy Boyer

Mercifully, by means of the resurrection, Jehovah has opened up the priceless opportunity for untold multitudes of people who have died to come back from the heart-warming hope that someday, in God's new world, you will be reunited with loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. Mark 5:35,41,42; Acts 9:36-41.

"I’m surprised to hear about the loss. Are you Okay ? I don’t know what to say ! You have written “Charles was a quiet-spoken hero.” in Memorial. I think so too. In Japan he was always taking care of Obachan gently and honestly. I always feeled that Yoshiko Obachan is the most happiest person in the world. Your father will live in our heart forever." Cousin Teruko (Japan)

We are sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of Uncle Charlie. Don has fond memories of when Uncle Charlie and all of you would come visit to Pa. The hay ride etc. Uncle Charlie was a wise but gentle man. We remember when he stopped in to our house and we took him to a diner called Charlie's. We have fond memories of him being there for Iva and guiding us when Howard passed away. We love that we could Skype with Uncle Charlie recently and he shared memories with us and taught us how to say good night in Dutch . We will miss him. Don and Cindy

Dear Barb...my sister Susie and I extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of your papa and our Uncle Charlie. He was a great man and epitomized the meaning of a true gentleman. It's so hard to leave our parents go. My hope and belief is that he has joined my mom and dad and all the other angels. My mom loved her siblings so much and always looked forward to visits from your parents. I smiled when I saw your posting about Johnny Cash. One of my mom's favorite singer was also Johnny Cash. Brings back many good memories. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family. Give Aunt Jane a hug from us. Love you all. Beverly Howard (Aunt Mary and Uncle Donnie's daughter)

So sorry for your loss... Our thoughts and prayers are with you, no words of sympathy can ease the sorrow that is yours, But thoughts and loving memories last as long as time endures -- So may your treasured memories grow more precious year by year. And help to bring you comfort in the loss of one so dear... I love the memorial page. I hope you seen the comment/condolences I posted that Sunday. It was the words in a card we received when Emily passed away that I have often used them since because I liked how it read. I looked back later, but the post you had was no longer there? The picture with grandpa and Charlie in the store facing each other, that is actually Jeremy in the background. Just thought I would share. Dad and him do look very much alike. I still can't believe how much Grandpa and Charlie look alike. Even their gestures arms crossed, standing, etc. I love him so very much and will always cherish all my memories with him and Charlie as well. Hugs! Cousin Jennifer Martin Dunkelberger (Uncle Alfred's granddaughter)
