Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 4pm-7pm at the Northridge Wesleyan Church located at 1842 Neff Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414.

Gary Lee Crowder was born on August 3, 1975 and unexpectedly passed away in his Dayton home, at just 42 years old on October 20, 2017.
Gary was preceded in death by daughter, Reba Lee; step-father, Danny; brother-in-law, his grandparents and many more loved ones.
Gary is survived by wife, Shellie Lea Crowder with three children Cheyanne, Kendall and James. Six children, Gary Jr with wife Courtney, Eric, Destiney, Josh, Justin and Alyssa. two grandchildren Matthew and Elli. His mother Pamela with husband Scott; brother, Danny with wife Stephanie; sister, Melissa; Mother-in-law, Linda; Brother-in-law, Robert; Sister-in-law, Melissa Myers, among many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Gary was put to rest by cremation on October 30, 2017. Gary will always be loved and missed!

Dear Family and Friends, Death leaves painful scars upon the hearts of the living. Think what it would mean to see a time when death would be no more! Never would you have to go to a cemetery and mourn the loss of someone you loved. The Bible says: “The last enemy, death is to be destroyed.”—1 Cor. 15:26. God will also “wipe out every tear” from our eyes and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Revelations 21:4). This comforting promise gives hope to those who mourn. It removes the awful feeling of finality that death brings and gives hope that loved ones that have died will live again.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort through the loving memories of your beloved Gary. May you also look to our loving Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4, Psalms 83:18). He promises us that very soon, "He will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4, Isaiah 33:24. He also promises us that there will be a resurrection of the righteous ones so they will have the opportunity to live forever in Paradise right here on earth. (John 5:28,29, Psalms 37:10,11). What wonderful promises! Can you imagine a time on earth when there will be no more sickness, pain or death? May all of God's promises give you a measure of comfort, peace, hope and strength. I have personally found very comforting thoughts on jw.org.
