Dear Deb, Kyle and all the Harriman Family, I am so very sorry to hear about Ray. Although, it has been many years since I have seen Ray, I will never forget his beautiful smile, and kind gentle manner. What an amazing husband, father, teacher, coach and all around respected man. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all! Love, Cherie Santi

I worked with Ray at MCHS for the past 11 school years. He was one of my favorite teachers. He would always go out of his way to stop by the main office to encourage Vicki and I... and to share funny anecdotes with us. He loved his family, teaching, his students and life! I will miss him; it was a pleasure to have known him. For Deb, Kyle, and Ray's extended family ... my prayer is that God's peace will guard your hearts and surround you daily. Territory Carlson

So many things come to mind when I think of Ray. I am so blessed to have known him and work with him. Ray always asked about my kids and their next sporting adventure. He was so encouraging and supporting of them. He never missed an opportunity to tell me he saw their pictures, or what a good job I was doing, or say an encouraging word. I will miss his smile and laugh most of all. Deb and Kyle my love goes out to you. Thank you for sharing Ray with us. We are all a little better because of him.

Mr. Harriman was a wonderful man, an amazing teacher, and always went out of his way to say hello or ask how you've been. I remember in high school he always had the best stories, and I will never forget his theory on why aliens haven't really made human contact. Whales.... they were too busy exploring whales and the whole ocean. Because whales are peaceful and beautiful. At first I thought he was crazy but he was so passionate about it that I to this day carry this belief.
Mr. Harriman had a strong voice and demanded respect when needed but nothing about him was intimidating because he had the most approachable and friendly character. The first time I ever felt so low about myself was when he lectured our class for cheating on an exam and not being a bigger person and putting a stop to it...because let's face it, we all knew about it. I really felt like I disappointed him just for being a witness! A few weeks later we were taking our final and after about five minutes of dead silence he barked that stern voice and told all of us to put our pencils down and turn back our test. We were all so scared and thought for sure someone tried to cheat again. He waited for all of our eyes to meet his before he busted out in his great big roar of a laugh and said "I hate finals, and I hate test dictating your knowledge. Enjoy your break"
Best. moment. ever.
Mr. H, Thank you for all your support when I entered the teaching world, your kind words will always inspire me. You ARE greatly missed, you and your family will forever be in my heart.

Mr. Harriman was a great teacher and awsome friend. I work in the E. S. S. Dept. What I remember about mr. Harriman is he would talk and carry on conversations with the students in the room. Leave them with a "have a great day " and a smile. Always. Ray, you will be so so missed. R. I. P.

Ray was a great co-worker and a friend. Ray loved students and showed concern for all student who walked the halls of M-CHS. I will miss our talks about Pueblo and other commonalities. Ray will be missed both at M-CHS and personally.

Ray was a friend that I was always learning from. I hold most dear the several times he said "Deb and I just love the Ramsey's". He said this to me all the time. I will miss the heck out of him. Debra Ramsey

I enjoyed your class, it was my favorite while I went to MCHS!I enjoyed the seminars & coffee with the pitch ins for donuts :') I remember being late & you sent me to robinson's office. You later apologized the next class period. History class was the most fun because you made it so memorable. You always greeted students in the hall ways, always asked about my uncle bob in his art work, spoke highly of my cousin Kaleb,Tyler & Daniel. I will miss you! Mr. Harriman
