Gay Bell King was born February 25, 1960 in Selma, AL to the late Harrison King and Lorena King. She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Greater Emmanuel Temple Holiness Church. She was educated in the Birmingham City School system. She departed this life February 10, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her son Lonnie and her father Harrison King, Jr. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a loving mother; Lorena Watley, a son; Tony King, Two Grandchildren; Lonnie Jr. and Kiera King, Two Sisters; Barbara Brown of Birmingham, AL, Loretta King of Detroit, MI, Three Brothers; Theodore King of Birmingham, AL, Harrison King, Jr. of Detroit MI, Michael Morrison King, III (Patricia Moorer) of West Palm Beach, FL., a host of Nieces, a Favorite Nephew, “Rod”, other Nephews, Cousins and Friends; a special friend Antonio a.k.a. Yogi Bear.

Public Viewing will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11am at Word of Life Faith Church, 600 Henson Street, Midfield, AL.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 12pm at Word of Life Faith Church, 600 Henson Street, Midfield, AL. Burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
