Frederick Woodruffe Cruickshank passed away early Friday morning at the age of 89.
Frederick was predeceased by Glenn Cruickshank (son), Lisa Cruickshank-Piper (daughter), Sylvia Cruickshank (1st wife), Phidelia Cruickshank (sister), Leo Cruickshank (brother).

Frederick is survived by his loving wife Blanca Cruickshank of 12 years. They were married in Lakewood on September 3, 2005.

Frederick is lovingly remembered by his children Keith Cruickshank, Sylvan Cruickshank (wife Ruth), Annmarie Cruickshank Schroden (husband Michael), Joanne Cover (husband Eric), Kurt Cruickshank (wife Madeline) and sister Theodora Gibbons. Grandchildren Shinah Cruickshank, Ishan Cruickshank, Thaao Cruickshank, Allison Williams, Lisa-Marie Cover, Donovan Cruickshank, Dominique Cruickshank, Chayim Cruickshank, Chloe Cruickshank a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his current wife Blanca Cruickshank’s family and friends.

Frederick was born on January 16, 1928 in Venezuela, but raised in Trinidad Tobago. Frederick was baptized in the 1980 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Frederick was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He was very hard working man. He was a very calm and meek person. He loved to make people happy, he loved to laugh and make jokes, he loved his creator Jehovah god he loved the ministry and he loved people.

Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 1, 1980. Served as an Elder in various Congregations for over 30 years, serving in Linwood Congregation, Brooklyn, NY, Royal Palm Beach Congregation, Palm Beach Florida, English Lakewood Congregation, Jackson, NJ and most recently, North Brick Congregation, Brick, NJ. He served in the full time Ministry as a Regular Pioneer for 3 years.

Fred served in various congregations as Service Overseer, Book Study Overseer, Kingdom Hall Construction Volunteer, working to help build and renovate various Kingdom Halls and Assembly Hall projects, including the Christina Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Fl. He also served as Convention Cleaning Overseer for 2 years.

Fred was always willing to work hard, Even when age began to limit what he could do, he continued to volunteer for and carry out various assignments according to his ability.

The viewing will be held at Dicostanzo Lakewood Funeral Home 6250 Highway 9 south Howell N.J. between 12:00-2:00 Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witness located at 473 Adamston Rd brick N.J. between 3:00-4:00. Repast will be held at Dorchester Hall in Leisure Village 17 Buckingham Dr. Lakewood N.J. Please ask for Dorchester Hall when entering the facility.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be donated to Blanca Cruickshank.
