Services will be held Friday January 16, 2018 at Young Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory . Visitation 10:00am service begins at 11:00am. Final Disposition Dayton National Cemetery


James A. McDougal, Sr, age 82. Sunrise, December 8, 1935 in Terre Haute, Indiana and Sunset, January3,2018 in Dayton, Ohio. James was affectionately known as Mac. James was a member of the e Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board under the leadership of Pastor Morris Smyth.
He served honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 and retired in January 1, 1974. He served this country all over the U.S. and the world, including France, Korea, Ohio, Arizona, and Kansas.
He enjoyed putting together model cars, shopping, hunting and bowling. He most enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much and playing with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful father, husband and provider.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Lucille McDougal sisters Helen Shouse, Irma Henderson and brother William McDougal. Left to cherish his memory is devoted wife, Rose McDougal, step-daughters Janeen Aldridge and Derina Allen. He is survived by sons James McDougal, Melvin McDougal, Kenneth McDougal, daughters, Julie Bradshaw and Linda McDougal and Special grandson, Daniel McDougal. He leaves to cherish numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
