Marvin Lee McDavid, 40, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Mount Caramel East Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Marvin was born on October 21, 1976 in Dayton, OH. He took pride in working as a residential/commercial painter, which he did for many years with Do It Right Painting under Gary Fancher. Once moved to Columbus, Marvin joined by way of baptism at Mt. Olivet Baptist in Columbus.
Marvin loved to sing and dance. He also liked to write songs, poetry, and stories. His most favorite pass time was spending time with “his boys”. More than anything else in the world, Marvin adored his family.
Marvin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Houbert and Fannie Mae Wallace; maternal grandparents, Charlene Jackson and Donald McDavid; and uncle Butch Jackson
Marvin is survived by his mother, Donna McDavid; father and step mother, Arthur Wallace and Winnie Norman; step-sisters, Consuela and Markitia; sons, Elijah Lee and Isaiah Alan Easley McDavid, and Jaz-Cyah Mar’Vaun Harris McDavid; stepdaughter, Bryanna Shampayne Brown; Companion, Brandi S. Easley; brothers, Mike (Gemanesse) Scott, John Morgan, Donny Wallace, Derrick Maddlock, Curtis, Christopher, and Arthur Nicholson; Aunts Janese Jackson and Jana McDavid; sister/cousins, Laquata, Jevonne, Natasha, and Marie Jackson; brother/cousins, Curtis and Demetrius Jackson; uncle, CJ McDavid; as well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
