Age 56, departed this life October 1, 2016. Born October 16, 1959 in Dayton, OH to Joe and Martha Mance Dance. Graduated from Fairview HS Class of 77. Karen was a positive, funny, loving and giving person. She was a retired employee of Dayton Public Schools. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George and Mamie Mance; paternal grandparents, Lee and Anna Dance; sister, Kimberly Dance. Cherishing her memories are her mother, Martha Dance (Gerald Banks), sister, Kristina Dance; son, Mario Dance Sr.; grandson, Mario Dance, Jr. and significant other, Bryant Thompson. Service of memory Monday, October 10, 2016 3 pm in the Clarence E Bowman Chapel of the Young Lusain Funeral Home 2060 Germantown St., Pastor Roberta Graham, officiating.
