This memorial was created in honor of Lynn Lavern Shackelford of Dayton, Ohio. Lynn was born on June 30, 1956 and passed on October 28, 2016. Lynn was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.
LYNN L. (aka “ROBERT/SHACK”) was born on June 30, 1956, to the late Frances J. Winston (mother) and Ray Shackelford (father). He went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2016.
Shack was a self-employed contractor and all around handyman. He enjoyed life, his children, his dogs, whistling, but most of all helping others.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Cook Shackelford; son, Danny; brother Johnnie R. Shackelford and sister, Linda W. Smith.
Shack leaves to cherish his memory, 5 daughters, Carmen, Marie, Kylynn, Gail, Shelika (Marques); 2 sons, Johnnie and Antonio. 2 sisters, Cassandra (Joe) Young and Cynthia T. Worth, a special niece, Trena R. Washington, a special nephew, Kevin Tigner; aunts, Ada Yarbor, Johnnie Mae and Marion Shackelford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
